During this method a sheet of paper or cardboard in being printed on in an offset printing machine and afterwards being laminated on either a still open or already sealed cardboard sheet and further processed. Given a certain large batch size we already combine the lamination process with the actual manufacturing process of the cardboard on an inline-lamination-production-line.
Offset printing is always the better alternative when:
- The high requirements for the print cannot even be met by the high quality flexography.
- The expected total batch size is quite small and the costs of repro and printing block are in no acceptable proportion to the rest of the costs.
- The uniformity of the print-result has highest priority.
